  8. Wanted to make sure RES is working as intended. For example Bowling Green has a score of 93 after 11 wins and Michigan and Indiana have 95 after 8 wins.
  9. We went for a 2 point conversion and on the following kickoff it said that a 2 point conversion is no good. Additionally, while I know some analytics people say to go for 2 sometimes when you in this situation, I feel like the 2 point logic is off, going for 2 when down 8. Punt yardage on touchbacks is still inaccurate.

  11. The following article appeared in BG News, the voice of students at Bowling Green State University since 1920. Well time flies Bam, how does it feel to be going into your senior season? It's pretty crazy, I can remember my first practice as a freshman. You hear older guys talk about how your last year comes up so fast but you don't really take it seriously until it's happening. I'm trying to savor everything as it's happening while still working with urgency towards the upcoming season. Speaking of the upcoming season, how are you preparing in the offseason? It's watching a lot of tape. Last season didn't end how we wanted it to so it's pretty painful watching some of it, but that's how I want to improve. Watching what we did wrong last year and making sure it doesn't happen again. Also a lot of eating. I'm really trying to cultivate mass for the upcoming season. Favorite place to eat in Bowling Green? I love BG Burgers. Right across the street from campus, great burgers. I'm a regular there in the offseason. You're from Indianapolis originally, what made you choose BGSU? Well first and foremost I like to win. We have a history of doing that here and I'm a pretty competitive guy so I really wanted keep on with that tradition. But I also wanted somewhere to have a fun college experience. I'm a work-hard-and-play-hard kinda guy. Indy doesn't have the best bar scene, BG has some fun college bars and I like to have fun so it was a natural fit. Where does the Bam nickname come from? I have 2 brothers. One is older and he watched a lot of Viva La Bam growing up. We used to play a lot of pranks on our parents and I was definitely a troublemaker so he called me that and it's stuck. I tried skateboarding for a while but it was not great. I was too heavy for the board. I have heard that the offensive line can be a rowdy bunch, is there a lot of camaraderie there? Oh yeah, we spend a lot of time together, whether it be watching film or hitting up the town. Most of us live together so if you find one of us you'll probably see the whole group. I think that translates onto the field though, few teams do it as well as us. We love to get downhill and run the ball but we also protect King (QB Travis Kingery) back there. We ran the ball well and gave up very few sacks. We do what we want on the football field. Thanks for bringing us back to football, any goals for your senior season? Definitely, we need to win the MAC. I won it as a freshman and a sophomore, it hurt to lose out on it the way we did last season. We need to go to the CFP and really make some noise. We have the talent to do it and there are no excuses for us as this point. Personally, I've played in 41 games, I'd like to cement my legacy as the best offensive lineman Bowling Green has ever had, whether that means individual accolades or team trophies, I don't really care. You have the chance to be the only 4 year starter as an offensive lineman in Bowling Green history. What does that mean to you? Well I've been pretty lucky in a few ways. I was able to grab a starting position as a true freshman, not a lot of people can do that. I was a big boy at a young age. Also, I've stayed healthy. Hamburgers and Busch Light go a long way in keeping a body healthy. But it would mean a lot, there have been a lot of good linemen here, Elijah Greene, Jared Simon, Abdel Crowder, Jordan Marte. Guys playing in the NFL. They've helped me get to where I am. I'm proud of it. Did you ever think about testing the waters for the NFL? No I didn't. I hated the way last season ended so I was definitely coming back. After this season, though, I'm hoping to go first round baby! Hopefully after winning a natty. Do you have any plans for after football? Nothing specific. My dad has a furniture business in Indy called Lamp's Lamps N' Stuff and I've already got my marketing degree so I may go into that. I like the small town living of Bowling Green though. We'll see where the wind takes me after the NFL.
