Hello all, I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate our team and staff for their hard work in making it this far. Winning the AFC is a great accomplishment and I look forward to seeing our performance in the Super Bowl. I think we have a lot to be happy about this season, but the most important game of the year is on Sunday and we all need to be locked in with our eye on the prize. Washington has the most formidable arsenal of talent ever placed on a football field this year for this game and it will take everybody's best game of the season to pull this off. With that said, I know we have it in us, so get out there and prove to the world that we have what it takes! With that said, I'd like to announce that following the game I will be taking an indefinite leave of absence from the front office. I am very proud of the teams accomplishments and I have total faith in nobody to keep it humming. Denvo will always be a team that represents excellence in no capacities, and I see no indication of that changing. Go Broncos!

Effectively, this means that a 4 or 5 star player won't commit to an FCS school unless they are effectively ceded by the field of FBS schools, and a 3 star will be a tough battle as even the best FCS program has a larger divide in effectiveness of pitch than the divide between best and worst FBS program The very very best alignment of variables including affinities has a 3 star recruiting slightly less receptive to FCS than a non-affinity awful FBS school. I think that tracks with what we'd want and makes sense. I think 1 and 2 stars maybe don't need the malus, but then I think "if a 1 or 2 star player got an FBS offer they'd definitely consider it, right?" so a slight malus there makes sense, but it's not so mich that the FCS schools are at the mercy of FBS oversigning and cuts. All in all I like the whole thing, but I think the natural debuff to FCS might serve to be lessened in this case though now that I do the math again. Maybe 20% or 15% instead of 30% as the 'average' recruit would be at the 'default' 30% from last season using a 15% base reduction combined with the star debuff.

If we're doing late nominations, I have a proposal as well. Let's play the superbowl in my backyard. It's got plenty of space and a shed full of gym equipment that can serve as a training facility for players. Unlike crazy locations like Tokyo and Hawaii, my backyard is strategically located only 200 miles away from the geographic center of the contiguous US.
