PositionCurrent position gradeCurrent statusRecruiting statusCrooting GradeCC-A pair of 2 stars as their underclassmenSo upgraded to a pair of 3 stars including an A- potentialB-CBC+A pretty solid future starter pair here including a 4 star freshmanAdded 2 more high end 4 stars, along with a 3 and a 2 for depth. This is going to be a very deep roomB+DEB-A high end 4 star and a high potential 3 in this roomGrabbed on ok 3 star guy to keep the room fullC+DTC+They do have a 4 star... but with F potential. Overall the room is okAdded a solid 4 star and a high upside 3 turns this room into a strengthB+FBC2 eh guys at the momentAdded a better 3 star than the ones on roster nowC+FSC-All Cs here. UnderwhelmingThis position could've used an instant starter instead of a mediocre 2 starD+ILBB-Solid set of guys here, got the 4 star soph and A potential Freshman behind himA pair of 3 stars here with slightly above average potential. Good depth pieces, but slight downgrades from the current roomCKD+Bad 2 stars are all they've got right nowKenny is not the greatest kicker, but there aren't that many to recruit from and he's a definite upgradeB-OGCA bunch of 3 star guards, nothing much to note hereAdded a very high upside pair here, 3 and 4 stars with good potential. Definite upgrade in this roomBOLBC+A crowded room for sure, but only one guy of note, a solid freshman B B 4 starAdded a very average 3 star. Not super impressed with himCOTC+Same story. Lots of below average guys, and then a very talented 4 star freshman. Just need to find a guy to start on the other side of the lineDidn't get anybodyDPCExtremely meh puntersCarlos is now the best guy in the room, good add.C+QBC+Blake Smith has starter-quality, but there is nobody else in this room I'd trust to run a good offenseVic Hill was a top-50 overall recruit, and made it to the Elite-11 so he is a very good pickup here and likely expects to be an eventual starterARBC+Another mediocre room with one bright spot. Of course even at RB you don't necessarily need more than 1 starA very solid pickup here and Avery is a good complement to the guys on their roster with the power designationB-SSC+It's ok. Their sophomore starter looks to be panning out wellDidn't get anybodyC-TED+Not good. Need something in this roomEven though he's a 3 star, Scott is already the best guy in the room and has great potential to get even betterB-WRC-I don't see a whole lot in the pipeline here. They need to try and get some weapons for Vic to eventually throw to.Eh. A pair of ok 2 stars are not going to make a ton of noise. Josh is a reasonable pickup thoughC I'd say this is an average class. They got a fair number of good pieces, but also had a couple of misses. Their roster was a little sparse coming up and overall they did improve it a little imo. Also bonus points for being by far the best at replicating a good regional strategy with 21/25 recruits hailing from Texas Baylor University Big XII Conference 2021: 10-4 (8-2) Recruiting Class Basics: Baylor signed 2 5-stars, 3 4-stars, 18 3-stars, and 2 2-stars. PositionCurrent position gradeCurrent statusRecruiting statusCrooting GradeCB+Baylor already has a really good freshman center hereSnagged a pretty good potential 3 star here for developmental depthC+CBB-Currently pairing a 4 star and a high potential 3 star underclassmen, so pretty solid setupSigned 3 guys, all above average potentials. The 2 star seems like a stretch though, and none of them would be starters on their current rosterCDEB-Lots of Bs here which is good! Solid depth and starters it seemsAnd added more good pieces, this is going to be one of their better position groups I thinkB-DTB-Baylor definitely has a lot of 4 stars on their roster so far, haven't seen many holesSigned a meh 3 star, don't think he does much for the room but is ok fillerCFBB+Baylor has a really good FB by the name of... Adrian Pederson?? good try trying to fool the NCAA, go back to the NFL pleaseDidn't sign anybody, but didn't really need toB-FSBGd, Baylor had a phenomenal recruiting class last year. Another 4 star hereDidn't sign anybody, but didn't really need toC+ILBCPretty sparse here, 2 underclassmen, both C overallsTop-5 player, 5 star Kevin Cole immediately upgrades this room, great grab. Also got a B potential 3 star for depthAKC-2 players on roster, both 2 stars. MehMediocre 3 star, but technically still an upgradeC+OGC+A bunch of high potential 2 and 3 stars, but none of them have turned out to have high overalls yetThe elusive A+ potential 3 star is really good. Their other signee does not excite meB-OLBCLast 2 classes didn't have anybody that good hereGood position to get one of their 3 4-tars here. Plus Tray has a pretty good potential for a 4-star. Also got another B- 3-star for more of a room upgradeBOTB-More 3 stars. BUT they've all turned into at least B overalls already which is solidGot 2 more above average 3-stars here. Will only keep the room at an even talent level thoughC+PDOne guy on roster. A rising senior bad 2-starMajor major upgrade with one of the best punters out thereA-QBB+5 star superstar rising junior on roster. This class or next they need to get the next "guy" thoughidk if Alex Johnson is it, but he has ok potentialCRBB-Solid 4 star last year and a lot of good 3-stars as wellMore high-upside players, but I'm skeptical the 2 star will get much playing time with the rosterCSSB5 star A overall here! they do need his eventual replacement though"eventual". Didn't get any this yearCTEC+A bunch of pretty good 3 starsAdding more of them? This will be a tough room to sort through, they're all the sameC+WRC+Another very very average room, but no holes at leastTyler Prochnow is a top-10, probably top-5 overall recruit. Superstar hometown kid stays in Waco and looks to make a big impact for the Bears. Also got 2 other 3-starsA Honestly, I was more impressed with last years recruiting class. Baylor has the best roster I've seen so far with almost no weaknesses. Their recruiting class was also pretty solid and they got 2 5-stars! So added a lot of star power, even if as an overall class it might be a mite weaker than last years. Either way, it's plenty good enough to continue ruling the Big XII. Bowling Green State University Mid-American Conference 2021: 7-6 (5-3) Recruiting Class Basics: Bowling Green signed 1 5-stars, 14 4-stars, and 10 3-stars. PositionCurrent position gradeCurrent statusRecruiting statusCrooting GradeCD+Pretty weak here, all below-average playersSnagged a 4 star here who is immediately the best in the roomB+CBC-An ok sophomore B overall, but everybody else is mediocreBest position in the class. Wow. Don Dingus is a phenomenal top-5 recruit who stayed home and is an instant starter. Richie is also a very high end 4 star who should start alongside Don for 3 yearsA+DEC+A good 4 star freshman here and a high acheiving 3 star sophomore are the current future of the positionAdding one of the higher potential 4 star DEs is a good win there, and he should see the field plentyBDTCRelatively weak roster, but! They have a current freshman 3 star B overall with A+ potential, so he could be a future starNot sure their roster warrents picking up 3 DTs here, I assume they signed the C potential before the other 2 and just took easy upgrades but still. Also a bit of a lack of consistency with a nose tackle, balanced, and pass rusher, but the upside is they have a ton of flexibility with where to go with the position?CFBCOne guy currently, a freshman ok 3 star. Not sure how much they'll use the positionDidn't sign anyCFSC-Extremely weak room here, only a pair of bad 2 star underclassmen, they need the upgradeSigned 2 options here, again with the flexibility in style. Both are 4 star guys from Georgia and the thought is that one of them is sure to turn into a starter in the futureBILBB-They have a pair of 4 star B overall guys here which is really solid. The downside is just a lack of bodies overall in the room.Didn't sign anyC+KD+A trio of bad 2 stars here. Don't want to rely on these guys to win games I would thinkSigned a pretty high potential 3 star which is a good upgradeB-OGCEhh, a little weak currently in this room, I don't see a whole lot of future playersBGSU hit this position hard. Signed a pair of three stars to shore up the depth chart, then went out and signed Bam Lamp, who is both named well, and walks in as starter caliber (before progressions). Only knock is his D+ potential meaning he could get passed up by his Junior or senior yearB+OLBCA whole bunch of mediocre 2 and 3 stars hereAnother good signing group here getting a pair of 4 stars to come in as future bookendsB+OTB-A better position group here with the high 3 star and solid 4 already in the roomAdded another 4 star and a development 3 to keep this room looking pretty goodB-PDI'm really not impressed by either of these guysDidn't sign anyDQBB+Last year they signed their QB of the future with Travis kingery, a B overall 4 star with A- potential. I think he'd be the ~5th/6th best QB if he was in this classSigned Melvin here, who looks worse on paper than Travis, but was invited to the Elite 11 and wound up 6th. Great great room now, but in the era of the transfer portal will they hold on to both?A-RBC+Sophomore 4 star and freshman high potential 3 star. It's an ok roomadded a top-100 4 star here to continue that cycleBSSC-A bunch of mediocrity in this room, room for a freshman starterAndddd they got one. One of the best SS out there in this class Austin Pena should walk in planning on starting every year hereA-TECSame story, a bunch of extremely average guys in this roomAdded the combo 4 star, upper end 3 star here, each of whom is on paper better than all the current players. Good upgradesBWRCNick Fields is the only guy in this room who should be in the mix 2-3 years down the lineGood position group here. Kenneth De Jesus is the headliner B overall 4 star, with a pair of ok 3 stars. Overall making the room betterC+ This was a good class with a lot of star power, and hit their roster needs pretty hard. There were some interesting looks here as they seem to like the 4 star + high potential 3 star pairing. Also, they had 7 position groups with multiple signees and NONE of those signees had overlapping archetypes. Unsure if this is a positive or negative as this offers a ton of flexibility in game planning, but also means a fair few guys from this class may end up being the wrong match for the gameplan BGSU adopts. Overall though, this was the 3rd best class and they added A LOT of star power (2nd most blue-chip (4 or 5 stars) signees in the nation). Anddd that's batch 2 all wrapped up! Batch 3 will be 3 more requests, and Batch 4 will be a 4-team SEC Extravaganza! Don't forget to SMASH that like button for more content :badass noodle: 14
alexfall862 Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 If you're taking requests - I wouldn't mind seeing if you think I should start all my recruits over the reigning worst offense and defense in the B1G.
