Fish Liggins Catches #1 Alabama

Minnesota RB Fish Liggins lead the charge for the Gophers against the #1 team in the country, Alabama. The entire game was a slugfest with both teams unable to do much offensively, save for Liggins, who posted 26 carries for 124 yards and a touchdown. Also critical was K Stephen Jernigan who was perfect on the day, going 1/1 on extra points, and 2/2 on field goal attempts, including a 29 yarder and the decisive 39 yarder with less than two minutes to play.
