Had to slow down for a bit, moved back to Bama for my second semester (plus the epic celebration of the national championship win). All set to go now.

Broncos Trade Demaryius Thomas to the Arizona Cardinals

WR Thomas will move from orange and blue to red and white..

Denver sends starting wideout to Arizona

The Denver Broncos appear to be heading towards an actual rebuild, moving on from another core piece from the 2015 Super Bowl run. They have shipped starting wide receiver ad 2010 first round pick Demaryius Thomas to the Arizona Cardinals for their 3rd and 6th round picks in 2018 and their 2nd round pick in 2019.

It was reported earlier on in the season that the team was seeking partners to move Thomas at the trade deadline. This move follows the team cutting Aqib Talib ahead of June 1st, saving $11 million in cap with only about $1 million in dead money. Demaryius Thomas signed a five-year contract extension in 2015 work approximately $70 million.

Thomas ended the 2017 season with 949 yards receiving and five touchdowns.

Seahawks Trade Safety Earl Thomas to Dallas

A tumultuous season has resulted in Thomas getting his trade request.

Dallas gets Pro Bowl safety Earl Thomas III

Earl Thomas approached Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett after Seattle's elimination from the playoffs and told him if they get the chance to bring him to Dallas, "come get me."

Thomas played this off as something not too serious and hypothetical, but Seattle saw it differently. After a season that saw tensions rise several times throughout the season, the Seattle locker room became obviously fractured. The Legion of Boom fell apart and now has lost an integral member.

The Dallas Cowboys offered up their 2nd and 4th round picks in the upcoming draft, along with a conditional pick in 2019.

Alex Smith Traded to Buffalo Bills

Despite a few seasons of solid play, the Chiefs look towards the future.

Bills get veteran QB for 2018

After cutting QB Tyrod Taylor earlier this offseason, the Bills had a very noticeable hole at the quarterback position with Nathan Peterman as the only player under contract for 2018. With the Chiefs ready to let Patrick Mahomes II become the franchise quarterback, Buffalo leaped at the opportunity to get a playoff-tested, consistent veteran quarterback.

The Bills sent offensive lineman John Miller and their picks in the 3rd and 6th rounds for Alex Smith and the Chiefs' 4th round pick.
