Nothing. I fell in love with the 4-2-5 and also wanted a rebuild. This allowed me to do both.

    Coaches Notes
    ‣ Defense played outstanding, especially considering how many plays they were out there for.
    ‣ Third down was our money down, just 1/12 for Ark. State on converting.
    ‣ Gambled on that last touchdown by them -- their only 3rd down conversion -- with an exotic zone blitz.
    ‣ Need more from offense.
    ‣ Got lucky last few games against pocket guys. Still struggling to contain at times.

David Oku scoring! I played against that dude in high school.

I've always been a coach suggestions kind of guy. I recently started picking my own plays in Madden. While on offense I struggle a bit, defensively it is so fun to try to match up against the offense. I was running blitzes from my dime and nicklebacks on Russell Wilson because that was one of the few ways I could stop him running past the initial rush.

Things like that make these games so much fun. When you have to adjust your strategy and figure out how to stop the other team.

I know that is what you are doing right now and it is fun to watch it play out. Love the coach notes in the updates as well.

    Coaches Notes
    ‣ I'm a football coach, not a magician. Defense needs help from the offense if we're going to be a good team.
    ‣ UCF promises to a be a good team, possibly the best in conference with a pro at quarterback. Was going to be tough, team competed.

    ask @Baze bro.

    coach soap in full effect.

While offense is fun, almost every defense is the same in terms of attacking it. Defensively, there's a wider variance in terms of play style, tempo and personnel.

    Coaches Notes
    ‣ Can't remember the last time I was this proud of a unit. What a performance.
    ‣ Ricky Hunter was always going to be a star in my mind but goddamn it, he's a fucking monster.
    ‣ Got into it with coach Fuentes and the offensive staff at half-time. We played nearly a perfect game despite the offense allowing a touchdown, turning the ball over numerous times and us having the ball on our side four times. Yet they scored twice.
    ‣ Our pressures are starting to get home, especially with man on the back end and having the defensive ends contain.
    ‣ Landed three-star stud OLB Mike Gates (6'2", 239lbs). Need to watch more of his tape.

    Coaches Notes
    ‣ Pathetic performance.
    ‣ Ricky Hunter was almost non-existent after his record-breaking day last week.
    ‣ They're going to run 57 40-yard sprints on Sunday.
    ‣ Such a bad performance after last week. Seems they thought they won the damn championship by beating a mediocre fucking Houston team so going to have one of our assistants order some trophies for them.
    ‣ Landed three-star stud OLB Mike Gates (6'2", 239lbs). Need to watch more of his tape.

    Coaches Notes
    ‣ Proud of the way they fought, responded after being challenged this week.
    ‣ Got an interception and a third-down stop late in the game and gave offense chance to tie it but twice went four and out.
    ‣ I don't think coach Fuentes and I relationship will last past this season. Love our unit but this offense has got to help us out and I can't hold my tongue.
